Gravitation, what can I say about Gravitation?

Maybe that's it's surprisingly awesome?  It's shonnen-ai, so I was a guarded when I first heard about it, but affter the rave at Otakon(con report coming soon) I figured it's worth a shot, besides is comes very highly rated form someone who's anime tastes I respect.

also Cardcaptor Sakura seems to be my latest inspiration for D&D.  Normally I just get  an NPC idea, or an item or maybe on good days a town or nation, but this time it's a whole freaking campagin setting.  A whole one.  yikes my own brain scares me sometimes.  i mean i got an idea from yeast.  YEAST!  cooking yeast!

I'm weird

I was talking to kelsey on day, and she talks about her date for ring dance, and about how he hasn't gotten back to her yet.  I sympathize, guys are often forgetful.  She also mentions how she doens't have anyone  to go to Prom with.  I ask when prom is, and she sayd may 12, I check my schedule and find out that WPi finishes up on the 1st, I say "Hey i'm free I could go with you..."  ...  ".. Oh god I just invited myself to your prom didn't I?!  I'm sorry!"

I think i might be doing too much work for my class.  actually I'm glad I'm doing toomuch work because i want to learn and i want to get a good grade.  For the last two projects we have be assigned to make a game in GameMaker.  We were given tutorials on how to make basic games, and then the assignmnt was to extend the game by 10%.  Looking back I've done a good bit more than that, but hey I'm trying my best =)

I'm also totally geeking out about this program i'm using.  It's claled WinSCP and it's making my life a goood deal easier.  My favorite feature is automatic synching of a remote directory, basically anytime i save a file on my hard drive it will update the file on the remote server!  That makes it so when i'm using a terminal prompt I can either compile or submit the files knowing that they are there! =)

okay i've got to head to my art class soon, maybe i'll be online later. maybe, also.... INTERNET TOMMORROW... YAY!!!

Housing

Simply put, nothing is decided yet. Most of my potential roommates have not gotten back to me with anything definite from their parents. I hope this all comes together, but i'm starting to doubt.

Enter Dorm:

I Am dead (we were mimicing Monty python's "i'm not dead yet" bit) and I was lying half on the bed. Dan begins to consistently poke my corpse. My rommate stands me up and I hold the death state

Theo: Isn't rigor mortis fun?

*Tim and Theo begin to balance me on my feet*

Vicky: *taps* Life

*I wake up*

Me: Oh good, it's good to have a cleric around

*look at my arm* Who poked me?!

Dan: Me

*Goes into fighting stance and power punches Dan so he falls on the bed. Tim grabs arm and breaks it*

Me: Oh fuck...Vicky heal him and fix my arm

*Vicky heals Tim by mistake*

me: Not him! Dan!

Vicky: *touces Dan's back* Cure Moderate Wounds. *then touches Richard's arm and heals*

Me: Ahh thanks. I need that arm. *wink*

Time: Ha. But you healed me, so now I can kill you.

*Vicky goes to cast 'Inflict Moderate Wounds' but Time breaks jaw and steals weapons*

Tim: Now you have no weapons *evil smile*

Vicky: Crap. Wait, am I dead or did you just steal all my weapons?

Time: I broke your jaw too. Now you can't cast any spells.

Vicky: Damn...wait! Isn't 'Cure Light Wounds' a non verbal spell?

Me: I dunno

Tim: When in doubt, When "Can we do this is asked ...*picks up PHB* consult the book

Vicky: I know it was Non-verbal in 2nd edition

Richard Invis...Disintegrate..Cure!

Tim: ..uh.. VS, Verbal, can't use it with your broken jaw

Richard: You'll need still spell, how much does that add

Tim: 1

Richard: Are we using Quicksilver or Core?

Vikcy: Quicksilver duh

RIchard: okay, beacuse of aggravated damage, that broken jaw is at least 2 AD, so that's 8 Hp and you'll need at the very least a Cure light wounds so that's a second level silent spell.

Tim: she can't cast it for 24 hours, she didn't prepare it like that.

Richard: True, but what level is she?

Vicky; I've been playing clerics forever, so maybe 10?

Richard: I'm only a sixth level DM, so maybe you are around 8th level?

Vicky: Well all my clerics get to 6th level then die, so maybe 6th level

Richard: Well your also moving to 3rd edition, and now quicksilver, so i'd say 7th level

*all pause*
